Today, Saturday, August 19, 2023, at The Garden, the agenda was

pulling weeds, getting grass out of the garden tracts, spreading leaf mulch, and preparing raised beds. Our prep work as we prepare for fall planting.

With no expectations on the help we would get, we were blessed to find more volunteers than we could ask for; ready to learn and assist in the community garden!

It was warm as far as presence; and as weather goes, there were no complaints!

Our little crew got right to work, it was beautiful to see the foundation that we were laying. Watching kids as young as 2 take part in the community with pride and a grade schooler harvesting vegetables was a sight to see!

The community garden needs a lot more help, but this beginning gives profound hope for the future!

Days and time for Volunteers to help us harvest the spring produce and plant for Fall 2023 are:

Wednesday     6:00pm-8:30pm
Friday               6:00pm-8:30pm
Saturday          9:00am-12:00noon

Love to see you. Contact us at: crosslinkcommunitygarden1201@gmail.com for more information.
